Мedical aspect

The ROFES set of hardware and software equipment is intended for measuring electrochemical conductivity and frequency components of body's biologically active points by three methods in order to operatively detect body's functional state, to obtain the signs of clinical diagnoses and states and also to obtain patient's psychological characteristics together with his somatic status.

The ROFES set has multilevel module structure and is aimed at users of various professional background.

Diagnostics

Operator's level

Users are the employees of the middle unit (medical assistants, nurses, laboratory assistants).

The software determines a number of integral characteristics according to the measurement results based on mathematic formalized data analysis:

• Person's functional state is the total of components of the body's medical (clinical states) and its psycho-emotional background, i.e. the dynamic balance of a body as a living system is assessed during changes of environment - "homeostasis"; it is assessed by 5-point scale:
  • EXCELLENT STATE
  • GOOD STATE
  • SATISFACTORY
  • UNSATISFACTORY
  • RECOVERY IS NEEDED
• Person's Adaptation potential (%) is the index of a person's level of harmony as a balance of his internal states - physiological and mental - in response to environmental conditions; the index of readiness to realize his vital functions.
• Vegeto-emotional tone is a psychological characteristic as the index of trophotropic and ergotropic tone (the need of receiving and giving energy).
• Psychoemotional state is the state of body's compensatory forces.
• Psychophysiological readiness is a combined characteristic based on the results of all integral characteristics.

To obtain the details of the states determined the software performs:

• Automatic expert calculation of preliminary clinical diagnoses and psychoemotional states with dialogue mode "Computer-Patient".
• Analysis of backbone's functional condition.

Expert reference level

The user is a doctor, a psychologist.

This mode of the ROFES set allows to select the most suitable course of treatment, the list of medical and rehabilitating measures and forecast of the situation development according to the diagnostics result.

After finishing measurement the doctor receives in addition to automatic diagnostic conclusions of operator's level:

• Frequency characteristics' spectrum analysis of changes in body's meridian system with details on nosologies, symptom complexes, and syndromes (for more information, please see report... );
• Graphical chart of body's meridian structure energy state (by meridians, basic elements, 6 KI, energy constitution YIN-YANG);
• Individual scheme for electroacupuncture and magneto-resonance (MRT) therapy;

System requirements

The ROFES software is of high complexity and requires a lot of computer resources. In contrast to other similar electrophysiological diagnostics programs, the ROFES software is provided with mathematic processing of files and further processing by the expert system. These options require quick speed and all the original drivers are necessary for each computer element in order to work properly during mathematic processing the diagnostics and correction results. The ROFES software is a kind of testing program for the computer. If all the necessary conditions are met (original drivers for all devices, licensed Windows OS, necessary RAM and processor), the ROFES software will be functioning without any errors. If any condition is not met, errors of the program occur. In addition, if the user is not experienced, he cannot apply the advices on software work restore. We remind that the program functions without errors on well equipped computers.

You should meet the following requirements to your hardware, operating system:

• for Windows XP
  Processor - no lower than Pentium 1000 MHz;
  RAM - min. 500 Mb;
  Free space on hard disk - min. 500 Mb.

  RAM - min 1000 Mb;
  Free space on hard disk - min. 500 Mb.

The ROFES unit is connected to the PC via a USB-port.

Maintenance & support

The ROFES set is guaranteed for one year from the invoice date: repair and replacement of sensors and measuring unit.

Post-guarantee maintenance:

- sensors and measuring unit repair;
- software upgrade.

Cost

Price of the system "Rofes" in the countries with exclusive distribution rights is defined solely by the distributor and it depends of expenses for maintenance, marketing services, training and support.
